Myrio Goes Interactive
Myrio Corp. introduced the “Myrio Interactive – Creator” add-on to its “Myrio IP Video Platform Version 3.7” Tuesday.
The add-on will give broadband-service providers the ability to customize the Myrio Interactive client and deliver a personalized Internet-protocol-television subscriber experience, the company said.
The Java-based development environment will enable service providers to add their own branding throughout the user interface, define a custom menu structure, control the layout and appearance of content metadata and map remote-control keys directly to specific menu items in order to facilitate one-touch access to key content features, Myrio said.
“Leading broadband-service providers have realized that creating a unique and consistent brand experience on their interface is critical to their success," vice president of product management Ryan Petty said in a prepared statement.
Myrio is a wholly owned subsidiary of Siemens Communications Inc., which purchased the company in April.
