mtvU and Monster’s (www.monster.com (opens in new tab)) “MonsterTRAK” have some jobs to do.
MonsterTRAK will sponsor The Opening, a series to air on MTV Networks’ 24-hour college network and mtvU Uber (www.mtvu.com) broadband network. The network said The Opening “profiles a day in the life of first-year college graduates in a wide variety of professions, helping college students to learn more about different industries and occupations.”
And the network and Monster’s student-recruitment branch said they will provide college students with the tools and services they need to help them find their first entry-level jobs on-air, online and on-campus.
“From the moment students step on campus, they're wondering how their college experience is going to translate into their dream job," mtvU general manager Stephen Friedman said in a prepared statement. "We're using every resource of our channel -- and working with MonsterTRAK, the industry leader in college and entry-level jobs -- to make that a reality.”
