By David Cohen
The Board of Selectmen in Natick, Mass., granted Verizon Communications a cable franchise for its FiOS TV service Monday.
The unanimous vote brought the total number of Massachusetts communities where FiOS TV is or will soon be available to 37.
Verizon also announced that it is now taking orders for FiOS TV in the Westchester County villages of Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry and Tarrytown as well as the Long Island village of Freeport, all in New York.
The telco said it already offers FiOS TV in more than 50 New York communities.
