Verizon Communications announced another video franchise and several Verizon FiOS TV launches on Long Island, N.Y., along with a launch in the state’s Westchester County.
The Village Board of Trustees of Freeport, N.Y., awarded the regional Bell operating company a video franchise Monday night.
And the telco began offering FiOS TV in the Long Island villages of Farmingdale and Valley Stream; the Town of Huntington hamlets of Centerport, Cold Spring Harbor, Greenlawn, Huntington Station, Huntington and Melville; and the Town of Smithtown hamlets of Hauppauge, Lake Grove, Lake Ronkonkoma, Nesconset, Smithtown and St. James.
In Westchester County, FiOS TV is now available in Irvington.
