It’s buying season at Liberty Media, as the company agreed to purchase Internet-based retail costume and party-supply business Buyseasons, AP reported.
Liberty senior vice president Michael Zeisser told AP the company wants to form a collaboration between New Berlin, Wis.-based Buyseasons and other Liberty companies such as QVC.
Terms of the agreement -- expected to close in the third quarter -- were not disclosed, according to AP. After the deal is finalized, Liberty plans to attribute Buyseasons to its interactive-tracking-stock group.
