Lady Gaga To Tout VMAs, Debut New Video on MTV, Logo Thursday Night

MTV and Logo will go gaga with Lady Gaga on Thursday night.
Lady Gaga will appear live on Aug. 18 at 7:49 p.m. (ET) to make a 2011 Video Music Awards announcement, tease her new VMA promo live and follow with an introduction for the TV premiere of her new music video "You and I."
The artist will then stay on for an exclusive live question and answer segment on MTV.com with MTV News's Sway Calloway. Fans can submit questions beginning today through MTV.com and Twitter (using @MTVNews / hash-tag.
Lady Gaga's new promo for the 2011 VMAs, which will air live from the Nokia Theater L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Aug. 28 at 9 p.m. (live ET/delayed PT), will premiere in its entirety on Aug. 18 on MTV during Jersey Shore at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
"Yoü and I" is the fourth single to be released from Lady Gaga's third studio album, Born This Way. In addition to performing, Lady Gaga is nominated for four Moonmen at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, including best female video ("Born This Way"), best art direction ("Judas"), best choreography ("Judas") and best video with a message ("Born This Way").
Lady Gaga joins previously announced 2011 VMA performers including Adele, Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown and Young The Giant. MTV will announce additional performers and presenters at a later date.
