Knology Inc. has begun rolling out Starz Encore Group LLC’s Starz! HD, the companies said Monday.
The operator rolled the channel out Monday in the five markets where it currently offers HDTV service, then launch it in future markets as HD becomes available.
The markets where Starz! HD launched Monday are: Huntsville and Montgomery, Ala.; Knoxville, Tenn.; Augusta, Ga.; and Panama City, Fla.
Knology also offers ESPN HD, HBO HDTV, Discovery HD Theater and select local broadcast networks in its HDTV markets.
