Kids Attend Disney’s Halloweentown High
The debut of Disney Channel original movie Halloweentown High passed with flying colors.
The network said the movie’s premiere last Friday from 8 p.m.-9:30 p.m. attracted 6.1 million total viewers two-plus (2.8 rating), 3.9 million households (4.6), 2.4 million kids 6-11 (12.3) and 2.4 million tweens 9-14 (12.1).
Disney added that Halloweentown High was the No. 1 basic-cable telecast of the day among kids 6-11 (12.3 rating/2.4 million), tweens 9-14 (12.1/2.4 million), girls 6-11 (15.8/1.5 million), girl tweens 9-14 (17.8/1.7 million) and boy tweens 9-14 (6.9/711,000).
And excluding coverage of the presidential debate that same night, the movie was cable’s highest-rated telecast of the day in households (4.6 rating).
Disney will air Halloweentown High again Tuesday at 8 p.m., Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. and Oct. 30 at 3:15 p.m.
