'Kardashians' Deliver E!'s Most-Watched Telecast

It seems that E! can't keep up with the Kardashian clan any more.
The second episode of the fourth season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians delivered 4.2 million viewers on Dec. 20, according to Nielsen data, to rank not only as the series' best, but it now stands as the most-watched program in the network' history.

The reality series' installment averaged a 3.18 household rating and 5.05 rating against the network's core audience of women 18 to 34. The Dec. 20 telecast built on the fourth season opener the week before, which notched a 3.0 household rating and 4.1 million watchers.

Last night's Kardashians' premiere benefited from the one-hour special Kendra: Here Comes Baby at 9 p.m., which averaged over 2.7 million viewers, more than trebling E!'s prior four-week time period and more than quadrupling its fourth-quarter prime delivery.
A new installment of Guiliana & Bill, the lead-out from Kardashians on Sunday, garnered 1.7 million viewers in the 10:30 p.m. half-hour, up 14% from its premiere the prior week.
The strong Sunday night showings followed the top Nielsen for Chelsea Lately, which recorded a record 1.08 household rating and 1.3 million viewers on Dec. 16, when the late-night talk show featured the controversial former American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert.
