Interactive Television Networks announced the beta launch of Setanta Sports' Setanta On Demand service.
The Internet-protocol-TV operator already carries Setanta fare including some 1,000 sports productions, among them more than 90 live matches this season from the Barclays English Premier League.
Setanta On Demand, available to ITVN subscribers for $14.95 per month, offers on-demand access to all scheduled European soccer and rugby games for 24 hours following the end of the match.
“With many of Setanta's high-profile matches scheduled during the week, early in the morning, on weekends or in conflict with other matches, ITVN's decision to create an on-demand archive truly enhances the package to the satisfaction of our Setanta subscribers,” ITVN CEO Charles Prast said in a prepared statement.
