Ion Media Scores Carriage Deals For Ion Life, Qubo

Ion Media Networks has inked multiple affiliate carriage deals for its digital networks.

The programmer has reached deals with Comcast in Colorado Springs and Advanced Cable to carry Ion Life, which presents fare celebrating healthy, active and empowered lifestyles and family-friendly kids service Qubo.
Separately, Ion signed a contract for Blue Ridge Communications to carry Qubo in several northeastern markets.
Deal terms were not disclosed.
Qubo and IonLife are available on Advanced Cable Communications systems serving Coral Springs and Weston, Fla.on Digital Plus channels 150 and 151, respectively.
Comcast Colorado Springs also launched both networks on its systems in Colorado Springs and Pueblo.
With the Blue Ridge pact, Qubo can be found in several markets in the northeast, including New York (Milford, Hawley); Harrisburg/Lancaster/Lebanon/York (Newberrytown, Ephrata, Duncannon; Buffalo (Galeton); Wilkes Barre-Scranton (Stroudsburg, Dushore, Tunkhannock, Damascus, Lehighton, Pocono Summit; and Elmira (Liberty, Mansfield). Qubo is on channel 116.

"As we continue to roll-out our digital networks to new markets, we hope viewers will discover the diverse quality, entertaining programming these networks have to offer and make them part of their regular appointment viewing."
