Intellon Corp., which markets HomePlug technology for home networking, announced that it has raised $24.5 million in its latest funding round.
The round was led by BCE Capital, an affiliate of Bell Canada. The Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Intel Capital and Motorola Ventures also participated. They’ll join current investors, including Comcast Interactive Capital Group.
In a separate development, the HomePlug Powerline Alliance announced that Intel Corp., Cisco Systems Inc.’s Linksys division and Motorola Inc. have joined the group.
