Insight Communications said it promoted Keith Hall to senior vice president and deputy general counsel from SVP of government relations.
"For the last few years, Keith's role in the company has steadily expanded into many areas beyond government relations," Insight vice chairman and CEO Michael S. Willner said in a statement.
"This promotion is reflective of his key leadership role in many areas of responsibility. Keith will continue to manage our relationships with over 500 governmental bodies. Additionally, he will be taking on a variety of corporate affairs which include managing community perceptions about the company and assisting with the development of our comprehensive regulatory strategy."
Hall has been a congressional and gubernatorial aide as well as an associate for one of Louisville's largest law firms. He has been active in politics, including serving as one of Kentucky's presidential electors in 2004 and as a delegate to the Republican National Convention in 1992. He is a graduate of Centre College and holds a law degree from the University of Louisville.
Insight, based in New York City, is the ninth largest U.S. cable operator with approximately 759,700 customer relationships in the three contiguous states of Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio.
