Insight Communications Co. Inc.’s Insight Media will handle advertising sales for a batch of Charter Communications Inc. systems in Indiana and Illinois.
The agreement, announced Monday, covers 51,500 subscribers in the Evansville, Ind., DMA served by Charter and Adelphia Communications Corp., including Owensboro, Madisonville and Hartford, Ky.; Newburgh, Ind.; and Fairfield and Mt. Carmel, Ill.; as well as Comcast Corp.’s system in Greenville, Ky.
The deal also covers 13,700 Charter customers in Taylorville and Paris, Ill.,; and the Rapid Communications system in Clinton, Ind.
And 10,000 Charter subscribers in the central Indiana markets of Brazil and Mitchell will be served by Insight Media, as well.
Insight Media is Insight Communications’ advertising-sales division, and it provides national and local advertising to customers in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Ohio.
