Insight Hires Weinraub, Bostock To VP Roles

Insight Communications has hired former Comcast Media Center executive Mitch Weinraub and former Sezmi programmer Keely Bostock as vice presidents.

Weinraub joins Insight, as VP of product development, from Comcast Media Center, where he was most recently was executive director of product development. He has six years of experience in product development and 20 years in cable and satellite.

In conjunction with the Video Product Marketing team, Weinraub will be working on development of the video product roadmap and strategy. He also will be responsible for the architectural design, technology selection, vendor selection and proof of concept in support of future video and IMA product offerings. Weinraub reports to chief technology officer Hamid Heidary.

Bostock, hired as VP of programming and video services, reports to Melani Griffith, SVP of programming and video service. She most recently worked as the VP of programming at Sezmi, setting content strategy for the international hybrid television distribution service.

She brings a wide range of experience having worked in both traditional cable and satellite companies doing everything from new product development to retransmission deals.
