Hot Ratings for Comedy’s Roast
The Comedy Central Roast of Pamela Anderson drew 4.3 million total viewers, the network said Tuesday.
The special -- during which Anderson was roasted by guests including Jimmy Kimmel, Tommy Lee, Courtney Love and Sarah Silverman -- debuted Sunday at 10 p.m.
Comedy added that the Roast was the highest-rated program in all of TV during its hour among persons 18-49; that it topped all other basic-cable networks, along with ABC, CBS and NBC, in that demo for the hour; that it was the No. 1 basic-cable program for the week among viewers 18-49 and men 18-49 and 18-34; and that it earned a 3.6 Nielsen Media Research household rating and a 2.8 (2.9 million viewers) for persons 18-49.
