HDNet Sets Fall Lineup
HDNet announced its new fall programming lineup Wednesday.
The all-HD network will present, night-by-night:
• Monday: “Family Night,” featuring newly acquired series Summerland, season four of Smallville and a new season of Higher Definition, in which Robert Wilonsky interviews the movie industry’s hottest stars.
• Tuesday: news and documentary programs HDNet World Report, which expands to one hour; new series Debate, produced in conjunction with USA Today Live; and Face 2 Face with Roy Firestone.
• Wednesday: The network will air drama series, including new acquisition Blind Justice and return episodes of Boomtown and The Agency.
• Thursday: The National Hockey League takes to the ice for a 52-game schedule on HDNet (Saturday, as well).
• Friday: “Guys Night In,” featuring new episodes of Get Out! and Art Mann Presents …; the Oct. 7 debut of reality series Young, Beautiful and Trying to Make It in Hollywood; boxing; and World Extreme Cagefighting.

• Saturday: In addition to the NHL, the network’s sports slate will include MLS on HDNet Major League Soccer coverage, NCAA Division I sports and live National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing races.
• Sunday: “Music Night,” featuring two new HDNet original series -- Sound Off with Matt Pinfield and Gilley’s Behind the Bull, both premiering Oct. 9 -- and the HDNet Concert Series.
