GolTV is being added to Comcast Corp.’s “Sports Tier” in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C., corridor.
The MSO began launching the soccer network April 15, and by June 15, GolTV should be available in English to Comcast digital subscribers in Baltimore, Salisbury and Montgomery County, Md.; Dover, Del.; and Arlington, Alexandria and Richmond, Va.
GolTV is available in English and Spanish on EchoStar Communications Corp.’s Dish Network’s “America’s Top 180” package and as part of Adelphia Communications Corp.’s digital-basic lineup in Los Angeles and south Florida.
The network currently reaches 5 million viewers, and it said that total should reach 8 million by year-end.
