The New York City chapter of American Women in Radio & Television will bring back its “Golden Apple Awards” in 2006.
The awards “honor women in New York City radio, broadcast television and cable who project professional excellence and community commitment in the workplace and where they live,” the chapter said in a prepared statement.
The ceremony will take place Thursday, May 11 in the Lenox Ballroom at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers in New York.
