Geico Now Watching Comcast SportsNet's SportNite

Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic has inked a multiyear pact with Geico to sponsor the regional's SportsNite news show.
The auto insurance company has secured the title sponsorship for the telecasts, which air daily at 6:30 p.m., 10 p.m., 11 p.m. and 1 a.m.
The Geico SportsNite entitlement deal, terms of which were not disclosed, emanates from the parties' long-standing relationship.
"Here at Geico we are excited about this sponsorship as it provides a great platform for us to reach a truly engaged audience," said Geico vice president of marketing Ted Ward in a statement. "Comcast SportsNet provides us an efficient and effective means to reach potential policyholders and remind them that we might be able to save them a significant amount of money on their car insurance. The Mid-Atlantic region is our home base and we are committed to growing our policyholder base while delivering outstanding service to the millions of drivers we already insure throughout the region."
Noted CSN Mid-Atlantic senior vice president and general manager Rebecca Schulte: "Geico has been a tremendous partner for our network, supporting Comcast SportsNet's live game coverage, original programming and news shows. We are fortunate to have a close relationship with Geico, which has also shown great generosity and support for many athletic organizations throughout the region. The network will continue to be the region's top provider of local sports news through Geico SportsNite, airing four times an evening, seven days a week."
