General Communication Inc. will deploy CSG Systems International Inc.’s “Kenan FX” billing and customer-care framework under terms of a deal announced Tuesday.
The Alaskan cable operator will deploy the latest version of the “Kenan/BP” billing engine, as well as “Customer Center,” CSG's new and fully configurable customer-care application, which provides order management and customer-care support in a single application that is integrated with billing.
GCI will also deploy the Kenan FX “Orders Modules,” which enable preintegrated order-entry, order-fulfillment and inventory-management capabilities that work seamlessly with Kenan/BP.
“The unified orders and billing capabilities of Kenan FX will enable GCI to more easily provide cross-product offers and bundled services,” GCI vice president of information technology Jim Dunlap said in a prepared statement.
GCI has been using Kenan products since 1998.
