Fuse Sounds Three Notes For Ad Sales Group

Fuse has bolstered its ad sales team, adding a trio from the cable industry.

Sharoan Harris will serve as vice president, pricing and planning for the national music television service, while Carol Valentine has been hired as vice president, digital media sales. Meanwhile, Lori West will serve as vice president, direct response and aid programming for Fuse, MSG and MSG PLUS.    

All three executives report to Fuse senior vice president of advertising sales Allan Infeld.. 

“Sharoan, Carol and Lori come to Fuse with extensive media and entertainment experience,” said Infeld in a statement. “The knowledge and expertise they bring to their respective roles will be an asset to the growth of the network, enabling Fuse to expand beyond its existing platforms and advertising categories.”

As vice president of pricing and planning, Harris has oversight for all planning, pricing, inventory management and traffic operations for national advertising on Fuse. She is charged with developing and implementing revenue goals and sales strategies. Harris joins Fuse from MTV Networks, where she was director, pricing and planning.

Valentine in her role as vice president, digital media sales, is responsible for interactive, VOD and mobile ad sales, and will be instrumental in identifying and establishing multiplatform opportunities. Before Fuse,Valentine was vice president, interactive advertising sales at Oxygen.. 

For her part as vice president, direct response and paid programming, West will establish rates to sell advertising to national advertising agencies and their clients on the aforementioned services. She, too, had been with Oxygen as an advertising sales manager.
