FSN Florida, Comcast Reach Carriage Pact
Comcast Corp. subscribers in Tallahassee and west Florida will have access to Florida Marlins and Tampa Bay Devil Rays Major League Baseball games beginning July 31 as part of a multiyear affiliation agreement between the MSO and FSN Florida.
Comcast subscribers will receive a special preview of FSN Florida content beginning July 11 before the network officially launches later in the month, according to network officials. FSN Florida is now in 5.4 million households statewide, according to network officials. The two Comcast systems already carry FSN Florida sister regional service Sun Sports.
“The combination of FSN Florida and sister network Sun Sports on these two additional Comcast systems ensures these subscribers access to the full range of local and regional sports programming and enhancements offered by our two regional sports networks," said Cathy Weeden, vice president and general manager of FSN Florida and Sun Sports, in a prepared statement.
