Fox Soccer Channel HD Kicks Off On Dish

Fox Cable Networks has netted a deal with Dish Network to carry Fox Soccer Channel in high-definition.
Marking its initial launch, Fox Soccer Channel HD kicked off Feb. 11 on channel 149 as part of Dish's America's Top 250 package. Terms of the deal, which does not include the upcoming premium channel Fox Soccer Plus, were not disclosed.
Fox Soccer Channel HD will present more than 3,500 hours in the enhanced format, including England's Barclays Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, Major League Soccer and Women's Professional Soccer. Among the studio shows planned in high-definition: Fox Soccer Match Day, Super Sunday+, Fox Football Fone-In and various World Cup programming.

"We are pleased that Fox Soccer Channel in HD is debuting on Dish Network and provides subscribers with the best viewing experience possible."
Fox Soccer Channel is scheduled to launch the premium channel Fox Soccer Plus on March 1.
