Four Companies Believe Sponsorsing ESPN Deportes Series Is A Dream

Ford, AT&T, Burger King and Infinity Auto Insurance have stepped up as marketing partners for ESPN Deportes' second installment of Dream Job: El Reportero.
The initiative gives aspiring sportscasters a chance to become a soccer reporter for ESPN Deportes' coverage of the FIFA 2010 World Cup and a chance to win a 2010 Ford Fusion Sport. The series will host auditions in New York on Oct. 3.
The four marketing partnerships represent fully integrated packages across multiple platforms, with the companies gaining marketing exclusivity within their respective categories. The agreement includes extensive on-air exposure on ESPN Deportes and ESPN Deportes Radio, including product integration in the three-week TV show, as well as on-site activation and branding in all six cities where auditions are being held. As part of the pre-promotion tour, the sponsors will be integrated on a branded trailer that will visit high-density Hispanic neighborhoods and college campuses three days prior to audition date.
Print, online and mobile components are also scheduled on ESPN Deportes La Revista and ESPNdeportes.com through a micro-site that will be fully dedicated to covering Dream Job, including tour schedule, voting information, behind-the-scenes videos from all auditions and finalists profiles.
"We are thrilled that blue-chip brands like Ford, AT&T, Burger King Corporation and Infinity Auto Insurance have joined forces with ESPN Deportes to bring back Dream Job: El Reportero," said ESPN Deportes general manager Lino Garcia in a statement. "Dream Job: El Reportero provides a unique opportunity for our corporate partners to connect with Hispanic sports fans on a national and grassroots level."
