Lance Armstrong is riding with JetBlue Airways.
Passengers on the airline can keep abreast of the six-time defending Tour de France champion’s progress in his final competition as Outdoor Life Network and DirecTV Inc. are providing continuous in-flight coverage of the three-week race.
The 2,126-mile, 20-stage race, which began July 2, culminates on the Champs Elysees in Paris July 24.
OLN's coverage of the Tour de France is available on DirecTV’s special-events channel, one of 36 networks from the direct-broadcast satellite leader that is available free-of-charge at every seat on the low-price carrier.
To celebrate this event, JetBlue is waiving its $50 checked baggage fee for customers traveling with bicycles in July.
All told, OLN will provide more than 300 hours of Tour action in July, including live coverage in the morning; replays during the day and an expanded primetime show. OLN’s coverage is hosted by Phil Liggett, Paul Sherwen, Bob Roll and Al Trautwig.
