Two special supplements to Sci Fi Channel miniseries The Triangle will be available via free-on-demand and broadband Wednesday, prior to their network premieres Sunday, NBC Universal Cable said Tuesday.
TheBermudaTriangle: Startling New Secrets and Sci Fi Inside: The Triangle will debut via FOD on systems owned by affiliates including Time Warner Cable, Adelphia Communications Corp., Insight Communications Co. Inc., Patriot Media and Communications LLC, Verizon Communications Inc., Armstrong Cable Services Inc. and Buckeye CableSystem. TVN Entertainment Corp. will provide the feed.
As for broadband, a five-minute clip of The Bermuda Triangle: Startling New Secrets, as well as Sci Fi Inside: The Triangle in its entirety, will be available via affiliates’ Web sites, NBC U Cable said.
“The Triangle is one of the most exciting projects we've ever produced, and we're thrilled to reach out to potential viewers and whet their appetites by offering these original specials via our cable partners,” Sci Fi executive vice president and general manager David Howe said in a prepared statement.
