FiOS TV Adds HDNet, HDNet Movies To VOD Menu

Verizon will offer video-on-demand programming from Mark Cuban's HDNet and HDNet Movies to FiOS TV customers.

The VOD services are available to all FiOS TV subscribers with an HD set-top box for no extra charge. The content includes more than 20 hours of HD programming from HDNet and more than 25 free movies from HDNet Movies per month.

FiOS TV's VOD library comprises more than 18,000 titles per month, including more than 2,400 HD titles.

Verizon already carries the linear versions of HDNet and HDNet Movies.
FiOS TV joins DirecTV and Dish Network in offering HDNet VOD content. The networks' on-demand programming includes Dan Rather Reports, mixed martial arts events and such movies as Lost in Translation, 21 Grams and Hoosiers.
