Exodus Continues at Charter

Charter Communications Inc. said in a securities filing Friday that executive vice president, general counsel and secretary Curtis Shaw will resign effective April 15.

Shaw, who joined Charter in July 2003, is taking a similar position at Dallas-based industrial-chemical producer Celanese Corp., the filing said.

Shaw is the latest in a line of executives who have resigned from Charter this year.

In January, CEO Carl Vogel resigned after nearly three years at the St. Louis-based MSO. He was followed by interim chief financial officer Derek Chang, who will also leave April 15, and executive VP of advanced services and development Thomas Cullen, who will leave April 30.
