OpenTV Corp. has added another Time Warner Cable veteran to its executive roster.
Tim Evard has joined the interactive-television provider in the newly created position of senior vice president and general manager, marketing and applications products.
Evard had been president and CEO at Broadband iTV. Earlier in his career, he served as president and cofounder of Time Warner Cable’s Road Runner high-speed-data service.
On Nov. 30, OpenTV named Mazin S. Jadallah -- former VP of corporate development for Time Warner Interactive Group's Mystro TV division -- as its senior VP of strategic development.
In Evard’s new role, he will lead OpenTV's applications business and oversee all marketing efforts.
