New York -- Consumer Electronics Association president Gary Shapiro told reporters at a presentation here Wednesday touting the Consumer Electronics Show that ESPN will flip the switch on its new service, ESPN2 HD, Jan. 6 at the confab in Las Vegas.
Shapiro also said the sports-programming giant would host a screening that day for Tilt, its second entry into original series.
Set against the fictitious backdrop of the World Poker Championships in Las Vegas, Tilt will explore the drama of high-stakes gambling, as well as the life of the professional gambler away from the table.
