EchoStar Communications Corp. will open a satellite-equipment-repair center in Spartanburg, S.C., by the end of the summer, AP reported.
The parent company of direct-broadcast satellite service Dish Network said more than 1,300 full-time workers will be employed at the new facility, according to AP.
The 316,000-square-foot repair center joins similar EchoStar facilities in Denver, Atlanta and El Paso, Texas, AP reported.
