David Rayner has joined EchoStar Communications Corp. as chief financial officer.
Rayner had held the same post at Time Warner Telecom.
He replaces Michael McDonnell, who resigned Aug. 13 for personal reasons.
Rayner will also be the principal financial officer for the company’s EchoStar DBS unit, succeeding Paul W. Orban, who will continue as vice president and corporate controller.
