Disney Channel said the premiere of the Cheetah Girls 2 movie drew an average 7.8 million viewers, the most ever for an original movie debut in the history of the channel.
The movie, starring Raven-Symoné, Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams and Sabrina Bryan, was also the most watched TV program on broadcast and cable networks last Friday.
Cheetah was the most-watched original movie in kids 6-11 and tweens 9-14 on Disney since Cadet Kelly in 2002.
