Disney Renews 'K.C. Undercover' For Sophomore Campaign

Disney Channel has renewed its hit freshman series K.C. Undercover for a second season, the network said Friday.

The series, which stars actress/singer Zendaya as a member of a family of spies in a secert government agency, is among the top series among kids 2-11 (1.5 million viewers) and Kids 6-11 (1.3 million viewers. The network will begin production on season two this fall, said Disney Channel officials.

Kadeem Hardison, Tammy Townsend, Kamil McFadden, Trinitee Stokes and Veronica Dunne also star in the series, which is executive-produced by Rob Lotterstein.
