Disney Junior Sounds Imagination Movers Concert Special March 6

Disney Junior will be home to a concert special from the Imagination Movers, beginning next month.
Disney Junior, the new destination for kids age 2 to 7 that succeeded the Playhouse Disney daypart on Disney Channel, will present Imagination Movers in Concert, a 45-minute primetime special featuring more than a dozen songs from the Emmy Award-winning Imagination Movers television series. Premiering during March 6 at 6 p.m. (ET/PT) on Disney Channel, the concert was filmed before a sold-out crowd at the Lakefront Arena in the Movers' hometown of New Orleans. The performance includes appearances by series guest stars Joey Fatone (NSYNC) and Duff Goldman (Food Network's Ace of Cakes), along with Nina and Warehouse Mouse.
Disney Junior is supporting the special with a super site. Slated to bow on Feb. 21, www.DisneyJunior.com/Movers will feature a new Join the Band interactive game, where parents can help their child upload a photo to create their own Mini Mover and play along as kids help the Movers learn their big dance moves in time for the concert. The site will also proffer printable personalized Imagination Mover name tags and a dedicated section for parents and caregivers with Mover-inspired recipes, crafts and party planning tips and ideas.
Currently in its third campaign, the Imagination Movers series features the popular blue-suited band -- Rich, Scott, Dave and Smitty -- as everyday guy brain-stormers working to solve "idea emergencies" in their Idea Warehouse, a place of infinite inspiration.
The group, which has sold over 100,000 albums since signing with Disney Records, are on a Disney Junior 50-city concert tour, with the trek stopping in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston and Washington, D.C. Tour details are available here. www.imaginationmovers.com .
