Dish Rolls Out Two Israeli Packages

EchoStar Communications’ Dish Network is now exclusively offering two new Hebrew-language Israeli-programming tiers.

The new packages are: Israeli Gold, which offers Israeli Global One and Israeli Movie Channel for $24.99 per month; and Israeli Platinum, which includes the Israeli Gold package plus The Israeli Network and EuroNews -- a channel that offers up-to-the-minute news from around the globe in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Russian -- for $34.99.

Israel Global One includes content from the Israeli Broadcasting Authority (Rashut Hashidur), the premier broadcaster in Israel, and offers 24 hours of nonstop entertainment, including critically acclaimed films, serials, concerts, children's programming and other shows geared toward the Hebrew-speaking audience.

Israeli Movie Channel showcases Israeli films and movies of all times -- from the best comedies to musicals to drama and blockbusters -- featuring the greatest Israeli stars. The channel offers three to four new films each week, often including newly released films.

The Israeli Network is the only Hebrew-language 24-hour TV channel featuring the best news, sports, children’s and entertainment shows from Israel’s leading channels, such as Channel Two, Channel Ten, Hop TV for kids, Educational TV and others.

New Israeli Platinum customers will be eligible to receive Dish’s International $100-back offer (the offer amounts to $10 per month in credit for 10 months of service). Thus, for 10 months, an Israeli Platinum subscriber will pay only $24.99 per month.

Israeli Gold and Israeli Platinum customers who do not subscribe to a qualifying basic-programming package will be charged a $6-per-month service-access fee. An additional dish antenna or single SuperDISH antenna is required to receive basic and international programming. The Israeli Network will still be available a la carte for the same price of $19.99 per month.
