DirecTV Sports Elevates McLintock To Head FSN Pittsburgh

DirecTV Sports Networks has promoted Shawn McClintock to senior vice president and general manager of regional sports network, FSN Pittsburgh.McClintock is now responsible for the daily operations of the regional sports network, including oversight of team relations, advertising sales and event and local productions. McClintock, a 10-year veteran of FSN, will report to Mark Shuken, president and CEO of DirecTV Sports Networks. McClintock, who since 2008 had served as vice president, assistant general manager and executive producer at FSN Pittsburgh. succeeds Ted Black who left the RSN in September.

"Shawn is widely respected in the sports television industry and the Pittsburgh community. His ability to communicate, create new opportunities and adapt to change will be key in both moving our business forward and in his day-to-day operation of the network".

The RSN produces approximately 1,500 hours of sports programming annually, including live Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Penguins and WPIAL football games.

FSN Pittsburgh generates the highest ratings of all RSNs featuring National Hockey League clubs, with its coverage of the Penguins.
