DirecTV Inc. reached a pact with Global Cricket Corp. to air the International Cricket Council Champions Trophy and ICC Cricket World Cup tournaments.
The ICC Champions Trophy will be held in October in India, and the ICC Cricket World Cup is set for March 2007 in the West Indies.
The direct-broadcast satellite provider said pricing and packaging for the two events will be announced at a later date.
