In Demand's Pitch: Longest MLB Extra Innings Freeview

Major League Baseball and digital cable systems will throw out their longest free preview pitch for out of market package.
With Opening Day coming early this year, MLB, In Demand and cable operators will offer a free preview of the 2011 MLB Extra Innings package from the start of the season on March through April 10. Those ordering before April 11 can buy the package, which presents up to 80 games per week and 2000 over the course of the season, for $179, a $20 discount. Cable will then offer the package at last year's price of $199 for the regular season.
Among the MSOs offering MLB Extra Innings this year from In Demand: Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications, Bright House Networks, Cablevision Systems, Bresnan Communications, Charter Communications and Midcontinent.
In addition to presenting up to 24 games per week in high-definition, this year's free enhancements include dual feeds of both the home and visiting team telecasts, giving fans a choice, and the multi-screen mosaic. This feature provides previews of which game to watch with rotating multiple screens that show all the live action, plus scores, inning and channel locations.
