David Bialis Picked to Run Cox's Western Division

Cox Communications has named David Bialis as senior vice president for the 3.3-million-customer Western division and made other, related leadership appointments.
Bialis, the former VP and general manager in Oklahoma (500,000 subscribers), replaces the retiring Claus Kroeger.
Percy Kirk has been named SVP/GM of Cox Oklahoma, replacing Bialis. He had been general manager of Cox Omaha (Neb.).
Marilyn Burrows, most recently VP/GM of Cox Roanoke (Va.), was named SVP and GM of Cox Las Vegas. Burrows joined Cox in 2004 from Time Warner Cable's National Division in Denver where she was vice president, online services.
And David Blau was named SVP/GM of Cox's operations in Omaha. He was VP/GM of Cox Business & Hospitality Network in Las Vegas and interim general manager for the entire Las Vegas cable system after Leo Brennan's departure to fulfill the chief operations officer role at Cox's headquarters in Atlanta.
In a release, Brennan said "as Cox's new COO, a primary focus is the development and positioning of leaders who will inspire our employees and help us to flawlessly execute our business strategy in increasingly competitive markets. The Cox leaders we today assign new responsibilities have proven themselves through years of dedicated service and progressive responsibilities. Most importantly, they deliver results."
