CTAM Hires Mark Snow as VP/GM, Direct Marketing

The Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing has hired Mark Snow as vice president and general manager, overseeing direct marketing services for the organization's multifaceted national Cable Mover initiative.

"Mark brings a decorated history of successful marketing expertise in residential, business, cable, analytics and strategy to both CTAM and the cable industry," CTAM CEO Char Beales said in a release. "He's an organizational leader who motivates others and he'll ensure CTAM continues its tradition of delivering impactful campaigns that yield measurable results for our members in the marketing cooperative."

Snow joins CTAM from SWIRE Marketing, a full-service advertising agency, where he was vice president of strategy and analytics. He spent eight years at Cox Communications, rising from a manager in the corporate office focused on business services planning to division director of residential field marketing to vice president of marketing for the Northern Virginia system. His marketing was recognized with a Cox Vision Award, Las Vegas Gold ADDY and a CTAM Mark Award.

"As a long-time CTAM member, I've always known the value the organization brings to cable marketers and the industry in general," Snow said in the release. "I'm really excited to get the chance to be a part of this great team and to be able to work with the highly-successful Cable Mover programs."

He has a B.A. in music history from the College of Charleston and a MBA from Emory's Goizueta Business School. He serves of the Board of Directors for the Fairfax Library Foundation and the Northern Virginia Community College Educational Foundation. He is a classical trumpet player.
