CTAM Announces 2009 Mark Awards Finalists

The Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing has announced 220 Mark Awards finalists -- and this year there will be even more winners called out, as CTAM has added a third-place bronze award to go with the existing gold and silver laurels.

The Mark Awards, now in their 26th year, recognize outstanding achievement and excellence in marketing from networks, cable companies and their agencies. Winners will be announced at the awards event scheduled for Monday, Oct. 26, at 5:00 p.m. during The CTAM Summit 2009 in Denver.

Multichannel News will once again serve as the media partner for the competition. Sponsors are HBO, Showtime Networks and Univision, and event production partners are Fuseideas and PK Network.

The full list of nominees in 62 categories is available here.

Teams of marketing and agency executives chose the finalists over five days of judging in Washington, D.C., and New York City. According to CTAM, nearly 1,000 entries are judged annually.
