Juniper Networks Inc. said Cox Communications Inc. has deployed its “M- and T-series” routing platforms that support Internet peering, cable-modem-termination-system aggregation, high-speed Internet and video in metro core networks, transparent local-area-network services, voice over Internet protocol, video transport and internal information-technology transport.
Cox said it was deploying the “M320” multiservice edge-routing platform in 14 regional data centers.
The MSO is also deploying Juniper's “NetScreen ISG-2000” system, which provides linear performance across any packet size in the network.
