Video-on-demand equipment supplier Concurrent Computer hired Michael Pasquinilli, who previously headed up Cox Communications' interactive-TV programs, as director of advanced engineering, the company announced Monday.
Pasquinilli will be responsible for the design and development of Concurrent's VOD products and applications.
"Michael has a long history of development in the video-on-demand space, and he worked closely with us on our development and deployment of Cox's on-demand product," Concurrent chief technology officer Bob Chism said in a prepared statement.
Pasquinilli spent seven years with Cox, where he oversaw the operator's interactive-TV and VOD projects. Prior to that, he was a technical-program manager with Scientific Atlanta.
