Concurrent Computer Corp. and Cox Communications Inc. are working together at the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing’s Digital and Broadband Conference Tuesday-Thursday at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.
Concurrent will help Cox to highlight its "FreeZone" free video-on-demand service, which the MSO launched in San Diego in 2002.
"Fast-forward to 2004, and long-format advertising is no longer a concept, but a unique VOD offering that delivers a real differentiator for cable operators," the two companies said in a prepared statement.
