Comcast Ventures Appoints Warner Head Of Communications

Comcast Ventures announced the appointment of Tina Warner, who has worked at companies including Microsoft and Match.com, as head of communications, based in the firm's San Francisco office.

In the newly created position, Warner will lead strategic communications and work with partners and portfolio companies to develop their marketing and branding initiatives.

"We have a team of first-class investors and a portfolio of exciting, industry-leading companies. Tina's expertise will help raise the profile of our team and contribute to the success of our partners."

Most recently, Warner served as vice president of communications at Chegg, a social education platform, and has also held senior-level positions at Microsoft, Match.com, Publicis and Waggener Edstrom Worldwide.

Warner has earned several awards in the public relations and communications field, including Bronze Anvil, Gold SABRE, Bronze Mercury and Bronze Magellan awards for her work on Chemistry.com. She was also included among the top U.S. public relations professionals when PR News named her as one of the prominent "15 to Watch" in 2007. 

Comcast Ventures consists of the recently combined Comcast Interactive Capital and NBCUniversal Peacock Equity Fund and has a portfolio valued at approximately $750 million under management.
