Comcast Net Sales Adds VP

Philadelphia — Sue Rynn has joined Comcast Corp. as vice president for advanced-platform sales for Comcast Network Sales.

Rynn had been vice president of advertising-sales development at Time Warner Cable, charged with implementing advertising features in the development of the Mystro TV headend-based digital-video-recording service.

Before that she held senior advertising research and development positions at such companies as In Demand, ReplayTV Inc. and Lifetime Television.

At Comcast, she will oversee advertising sales for the top U.S. cable company's national networks, which include E! Entertainment Television, Style, G4, Outdoor Life Network, AZN, PBS Kids Sprout and Select On Demand, as well as collaborating with The Golf Channel's ad-sales team.

She will initially work on new advertising opportunities for on-demand programming services, then branch into emerging technologies such as digital video recorders and interactive and targeted advertising.

She reports to Tom Prigoda, CNS vice president of integrated sales, in New York City.
