Comcast Launches Safe-Driving PSA Campaign

Comcast Corp. of Montgomery County, Md., wants its subscribers to “Drive, Think, Live.”

The operator, in partnership with the families and friends of accident victims, will launch a public-safety campaign Monday featuring $500,000 worth of airtime donated by Comcast for public-service announcements.

Drive, Think, Live is made up of seven PSAs featuring family members and friends of young people who have been killed in traffic accidents in Montgomery County.

"The Drive, Think, Live campaign is designed to get the message out that our young drivers need to stop and think before taking risks on the road," Comcast of Montgomery County area vice president and general manager Craig Snedeker said in a prepared statement.

“It was an honor to work with the families of accident victims on this very important project,” he added. “We are most grateful to them for the courage they show every day in fighting the fatal trend of teen traffic accidents.”
