Comcast Corp. will add Boomerang to its “Digital Plus” lineup in Atlanta July 4.
The 24-hour classic animation network from Turner Broadcasting System Inc. will bring more than 4,000 episodic half-hours, primarily from Hanna-Barbera, to the MSO’s Atlanta subscribers.
The operator also carries Boomerang fare on its free-on-demand service.
“We are thrilled to offer Comcast subscribers their favorite classic cartoons from Boomerang and the legendary Hanna-Barbera animation library,” Turner Network Sales executive vice president of sales and marketing Coleman Breland said in a prepared statement.
Comcast Southern division senior vice president for the Atlanta region Bill Connors added, “The addition of Boomerang to our Digital Plus channel lineup in Atlanta really strengthens our commitment to offering a wide variety of programming that the whole family can enjoy together.”
